I don't often post in the diaries, but this day was so glorious I had to record it. Forcast was doom and gloom and 5 knots all week, but when we woke at 7:30 in Col's immortal words it was 'blowing its tits off'.
Hurried down to the beach and everyone was out on 12's. As Col has so many new toys I managed to nick his 12m Turbo Diesel. OUCH! not flown one of these bow kites before, and.... I want one! Soaks up the gusts, bar is like a throttle, you go as fast or as slow as you want to, sooo much confidence knowing the next gust can be just soaked up so easily. I like the bar settup tyhe most from the new kites - tho I haven't tried the others in anger.
As Col said, blue skies, warm water..... this talk of fry suits sounds worse than an ennema at the mo :o
)
